Then a black man is accused of raping a white woman and Scout’s father represents him. He is accused of being a “nigger-lover” and things become horrible for the family. The story is about deceit and racism as well as friendship among the races.
Pride and Prejudice
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen depicts a vivid story of Bennet’s five unmarried daughters. Mr. Bingley and his friend Mr. Darcy moves into the neighborhood and Bingley immediately falls in love with the eldest daughter, Jane. But Darcy has trouble blender in society and clashes with Elizabeth, the second-eldest daughter. The novel actually centers on Elizabeth, who differ from the rest of the daughters, but whose own spirit will capture everyone’s heart.
